OVERVIEWThe toxicological risks in particular of 3- to 7-ring MOAHs (mineral oil aromatic hydrocarbons) have been increasingly emphasized by EFSA, increasing the need for their quantification. Also, in some matrices, MOAH can have different matrix interferences depending on the raw material which cannot be eliminated despite a variety of modern purification techniques. Here we present our GCxGC-FID approach, which can tackle both challenges, together with a summary of insights. |
